How To Distribute Frequency using Minitab?

Step By Step Procedure

1. Add some values to C1.

2. Goto Stat > Tables>Tally Individual Variables

3. Double click the C1 (shown in left column), now it will be selected in Variables, now press OK, it will show a tally for discrete variables.

4. Goto Data > Code > Numeric To Text, Select C1 in "code data from columns" and type C2 in "Store coded Data in Columns" now write any ranges I'l go with range of 5, write ranges "with colon" in original values and "with dash" in new values & press OK.

5. 5. Now goto Stat > Tables>Tally Individual Variables and select the required fields i.e counts, percents.
